Céline Pochat-Bohatier obtained her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Montpellier (France) in 1999. Her PhD work was devoted to the monitoring and the control of microbial reactors for the reduction of volatile organic compounds emissions. She got a position as Assistant Professor at University of Montpellier (France) in 2000. Her research included the elaboration of membrane by phase separation processes and the control of their porous morphology. She got her accreditation to supervise research in 2010. Her current research interests in the European Institute of Membranes (UMR CNRS 5635) in Montpellier (France) deal with the development of bio-based membranes and the use of bio-polymers for complex matrix preparation. She has been focusing on the development of new eco-friendly processing routes to prepare membrane with no toxic organic solvents. In 2017, she is the co-author of more than 50 publications in international journals, 2 patents, and she presented 7 invited talks.
