Céline Pochat-Bohatier est titulaire d’un diplôme d’ingénieur des Industries Alimentaires (ENSAIA – Nancy). Elle a obtenu en 1999 son Doctorat en Biochimie sur le suivi et le contrôle de réacteurs biologiques en vue de réduire les émissions atmosphériques de composés organiques volatils (Université Montpellier 2). Depuis 2000, elle est Maître de Conférences en Génie des Procédés à l’Ecole Polytechnique Universitaire de Montpellier (Polytech’Montpellier). Elle a passé en 2010 une Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) en Génie des Procédés (Université Montpellier 2) sur l’élaboration de matrices à base de polymère et l’analyse des processus couplés de transfert et de structuration. Elle a rejoint l’Institut Européen des Membranes en 2011. Ses activités de recherche portent sur les procédés d’élaboration de membranes poreuses à base de polymère, la valorisation de polymères bio-sourcés pour l’élaboration de matrices complexes, le développement de « procédés d’élaboration propres » pour des domaines applicatifs variés (traitement de l’eau, emballage, tissue engineering,…). En 2017, Céline Pochat-Bohatier a co-écrit plus de 50 publications publiées dans des journaux internationaux à comité de lecture, a travaillé sur 2 brevets et a donné 7 conférences sur invitation.
