Chargé de recherche CNRS en section 14 et habilitée à diriger des recherches (HDR) depuis 2001, Christophe INNOCENT a débuté sa carrière scientifique par une thèse de Doctorat en Electrochimie à l’Université de Joseph Fourier (UJF) à Grenoble en 1995 sur la conception de biocapteurs enzymatiques. Apres un an d’ATER à l’UJF puis 2 ans à l’université de Genève (Suisse) comme assistant, il intègre le CNRS en 1998.
Ses recherches ont d’abord concernées l’étude des membranes échangeuses d’ions et les procédés électromembranaires (électrodialyse) puis se sont orientés vers la conception de membranes catalytiques à enzymes. Depuis 2003, ses activités concernent la construction de biopiles enzymatiques puis microbiennes pour la production d’électricité par voie biologique.
Christophe INNOCENT est co auteur de 68 publications internationales et de 112 communications dans des congres scientifiques nationaux et internationaux. Il a dirigé ou co dirigé 8 thèses.
