Delphine Paolucci a obtenu son Doctorat en Génie des Procédés en 2000 à l’Université de Montpellier 2. Après une année d’attaché temporaire d’enseignement et de recherche, elle est devenue Maître de Conférences (2000), puis Professeur (2010) à l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier. Elle réalise ses activités de recherche à l’Institut Européen des Membranes (IEM, UMR ENSCM / UM2 / CNRS 5635). Ses principales activités de recherche concernent les procédés membranaires couplés tels que les réacteurs enzymatiques à membrane et la chromatographie sur membrane. A la mi-2011, Delphine PAOLUCCI a co-écrit 21 articles publiés dans des journaux internationaux à comité de lecture. Depuis janvier 2011, elle occupe les fonctions de directrice des études à l’Ecole Nationale de Chimie de Montpellier.
