Catherine FAUR is engineer of the Ecole des Mines d’Alès (1994) and has a master degree in Water Chemistry and Microbiology (1998). Named assistant-professor at the Ecole des Mines de Nantes in 1998, she worked on processes of water treatment involving fluid – solid interactions. Since 2006, she is Professor at Polytech – University of Montpellier 2. She managed, from 2006 till 2010, the team Elaboration Engineering of Bioproducts of UMR Process Engineering – Water and Bioproducts, where she developed researches on the elaboration engineering of polymer membranes by twin product – processes approaches. She joined the IEM in 2011, and became responsible of the Department Engineering of Membrane Processes. She is besides responsible since 2006 of the Master’s degree Food Sciences and Environmental Processes of the University of Montpelier 2 and director – assistant, since 2011, of the Doctoral School Processes Sciences – Food Sciences. At the middle 2011, Catherine FAUR wrote about fifty international peer-reviewed publications and 7 chapters of books.
