Stephan Brosillon (44 years old) has defended his thesis in chemical engineering at INSA Toulouse (2000). He has obtained an assistant professor position in the National Chemistry School of Rennes (2001) where he developed research focused on chlorination of water and photocatalysis of pesticides, dye, drugs in WW. In the engineering school (ENSCR) he gave lectures mainly focused on chemical engineering, water chemistry and process control. Since October 2008 Stephan Brosillon is Professor at the University of Montpellier where he is in charge of the development of research activities focused on AOP (ozonation-photocatalysis) coupled with membrane operations for the treatment of hard COD and OMs present in water. He is in position in European Institute of Membrane since 2011. He is an expert of AOP for the water treatment (37 publications). He is the head of the engineering formation department dedicate to water science and engineering (POLYTECH Montpellier). In addition he was the coordinator of the water transversal axis in the European Membrane Institute. He already managed several national or international projects with both industrial and academic partners. He has published 45 articles in international journals that have generated more than 900 citations.
