Chargé de recherche au CNRS (section 15) depuis 1999 et habilité à diriger des recherches (HDR) depuis 2007. Vincent ROUESSAC, ingénieur ENSCI-Limoges, a débuté sa carrière de chercheur scientifique par une thèse de doctorat en Matériaux et Génie des Procédés de l’Université de Caen au CRISMAT qu’il a soutenue en 1997. Il a ensuite effectué une année en tant que post-doctorant à l’ISEM – Uni Wollongong (Australie-NSW) sur la même thématique : les céramiques texturées supraconductrices cuprates de bismuth HTC. Depuis son intégration au Laboratoire des Matériaux et Procédés Membranaires en 1999 (devenu IEM en 2000), il s’est spécialisé dans le traitement par plasma et la technique PECVD en particulier pour des membranes permsélectives aux gaz. Il s’est aussi spécialisé dans le domaine des techniques couplées pour la caractérisation de la porosité des couches minces et membranes supportées (EP, QCM/P,…). Début 2020, Vincent ROUESSAC est co auteur de plus de 80 articles de journaux internationaux à comité de lecture (H=21 ; >1000 citations), co auteur de 5 chapitres d’ouvrage, a présenté 28 communications orales lors de séminaires et congrès nationaux et internationaux (81 en coauteur), a supervisé et co supervisé 8 thèses de doctorat.
