Certified in 2007 (CED2, Carnot 1), renewed in 2012 (Chimie Balard, Carnot 2) and actually associated with CIRIMAT as Chimie Balard Cirimat (Carnot 3) it includes, in particular, IEM’s research teams.
The core activities of the Carnot research teams focus on the mastered development/elaboration, the characterisation and study of the functional properties of molecules and materials for applications in energy and fuel production, “Green Chemistry”, resources saving and recovery, protection of environment and health.
